A hopeful moment of curiosity about "Primeval" S04E06

In screencaps of next week's episode I saw the creature being featured (I love saying that!) and a question occurred to me. It's behind a cut because, yeah, I'm sure any "Primeval" fan reading my LJ is going to see this one next week, but most of you are American and might be accepting the week-behind schedule.

Maybe...but I think the ears give it away. They are what 'punt-a-dogs' evolve back into after the Zombipocolypse wipes out man. I mean all the dogs have to do is dodge the zombies for 28 days or till the maggots wipe them out (faster than people think) and then it's Darwin time.

So just remember when you look at that 'cute' dog in Paris Hilton's arm. Yeah someday its descendant is going to come through a worm-hole and want you for kibble and bits!
