And other things about the trip
A brief run down of the trip since thursday, or whenever it was I updated. And did I even update on the trip? Don´t remember... anyway. Trip blurb behind the cut.
Thursday: Volleyball on the beach. Most definitely some kickass fun, and met gorgeous french girls that I haven´t seen since, and got some compliments on my game in three different languages. Sweet.
Friday: Went and saw the caves of Nerja in the afternoon. Figures it was the one day I forgot my camera, but they were absolutely amazing. Most gorgeous rock formations I have ever seen, with a guiness world record holding central pillar in one of the caves. Later that night met Lupe, chilled on the beach. Chilled in a literal sense, cuz it started raining and she started freezing her ass off. I wound up shirtless and still warm and she had half my clothes and was still cold. Crazy things living in different climates will do to you. Afterwards went and had the craziest dance party at Pub Seven, the one club we´re technically forbidden from going into, but it was definitely a blast. No drinking that night, just smoked a few cigarettes. Yes, worst idea possible, but tried it, didn´t like it, didn´t like the rush, I´m done with them. Period.
Saturday: Pretty sucktacular day. Left for Granada at about 8:15 in the morning after being out until 2:30 the night before, slept on the bus, walked for ages. However, we did see the Alhambra, and anybody who´s heard about it, yes, it was as amazing as you´ve probably heard. I have some pictures, but my camera´s battery DIED an hour into the day so they´re pretty sketchy. After that and the summer house (with one of the most gorgeous gardens ever, I DO have a picture of that) we went into town for shopping! ....during Siesta. When everything was fucking CLOSED. Really bad planning. Right as stuff started opening again we had to head out. Did see the Cathedral and the tomb of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella though. Kept walking around some more, feet were killing all of us, and by about 7:30 we finally got back on the bus to head home, where everyone slept some more. The night wasn´t even that fun either, since I found Maria and Lupe, but with two friends (Wow is that awkward when you have poor control of the language), and then they all had to bounce by one. None of the clubs they could get into had anybody in them either, so lame dancing and all that, especially since I can´t really dance and have that whole self-consciousness deal. Direly in need of a drink, didn´t get any. And didn´t get home for an hour and a half after curfew because me and my housemates were taking the people who WERE drunk off their asses home. One of these days that´s gonna kick us in the ass.
Sunday: Slept until 1:00 in the afternoon, baby! Then ate lunch and slept for another hour. Then went out and the actions proceeded as described in the last entry. Woohoo.
Monday - Today! Had class until one, went home and ate, slept until 5:15. mmmmmmm. Woke up and came here for the computers. Half an hour from now, cooking class with the language partners, and I get to see Maria and Lupe. Sweet. \oo/ ^_^ \oo/ So that´s the main update for now, I just need to figure out a way to get some PICTURES on here so I don´t have a limit of 80 for my entire trip!
