Yikes!!!!

We accepted the bid on our house. It is much lower than we were hoping for, but it is exactly the same as the first bid we got so I can take a hint. Now the real stress begins. I just can't get excited until we get through the house inspection. I am not expecting them to find anything big, but I am still so worried since the house is so old. She ( Read more... )

Keeping everything crossed and lighting a few candles for you ;)
So glad that the deal is moving forward. You'll have to give me all the details. Please remember that if you get to the fun part of house hunting you can always use here as a stop off point or a place for H to hang out. The boys would love it.
So happy, happy, happy for you. I'm sure the inspection will go fine. Be prepared for it to turn up a large list of little things. The inspections always do. It'll go fine. Call me if you need to vent.
Had a great time Sat. Let me know if you need help with the no fun parts of the fun news!

If things keep going this way I may be unemployed when we move. Is it bad that I kind of want a little time off? I was thinking we may come hang out. Franklin mills is close to where we want to be and the Hubby says probably his most likely place to hang out and play. He is looking forward to playing with J once things get moving along.
I had so much fun on Sat too. I only just unpacked :)

Thanks gypsynara March 15 2007, 00:30:42 UTC
Hope you are feeling better. I am trying to keep myself optomistic at the chance that we may get to dance together more in the future. It was so great to spend Saturday with you and the other ladies. I am hoping that an April 20th closing date won't affect the crop that weekend. We will move the weekend before. So much to think about!!!!

Yeah! I was soo afraid to write to you and jinx it. I am glad things are finally moving forward. Let me know when to come over and help pack :) Now the big part is over things will move forward at a better pace. The inspection will go fine and if a few little things turn up no biggie.

Prayers and kisses your way!

Everone is so optimistic but us :) It went to the lawyers today and the Hubby stopped by to pick up a copy and the lawyer said at first glance there is not a problem (we like this guy, we used him to buy the house). The closing date on the contract is April 20th!!!! I might start doing some packing here and there just because now I have something to do!!!!

Just keep packing, packing, packing..... :p I actually unpacked my scrap stuff and worked on my album. I also went out and bought a tote. It is a lot like the one you and M have except it came from Home Depot. When M said she had noticed that they were the same as electricians bags it gave me the idea. Same price as the one you guys have but it is black and red with a husky on it :) So much more me! It is also a bit bigger, not much but a little. I got all my stuff in it with a little room to spare....hmmm what can I buy to put in there?

I have been meaning to go to Home Depot and pick one up for Swabere. I wasn't sure they had them.
Don't worry, it won't be long until you are considering getting a second one :)
