I just got a call from the Hubby. The buyer is backing out of the house deal. I was told this COULD NOT happen. But it is and she never put down the down payment I was told she was definately putting down on the 27th. I am in such shock and so angry. I gave my 2 weeks notice at work already and had to go in and take it back, even though everybody ( Read more... )

This is really awful. I don't know what to say.
I can't believe you weren't told that the deposit
wasn't sent when it should have been.

Apparently our realtor talked to her realtor and she is still interested in the house but she wants the roof fixed or a credit at closing or she doesn't want it. Why didn't they say that? The realtors think that the buyers lawyer was trying to shock us into negotiating. So not necessary.

So now I went to my boss at 4pm and told him I might not be leaving yet. Now I just talked to him and said maybe I still am.

Worst resignation ever!!!! Glad I didn't tell anyone off yesterday.

This is going to be a looooonnnnng weekend!!!!!

Its been a while since I've been up here checking in on you and I can't believe what sort of lunacy you've just been subjected to. Property buying and selling sucks. I don't think I want to move again ever! I'm sending you a bunch of hugs and hope all goes well :)
