I am so stressed, I know I always say that. The job assignment that I really love is ending this Friday. I will be unemployed! The job market is really, REALLY bad right now. If anyone is in doubt that we are in a recession, they can rest assured that we are there. So many companies are doing lay-offs right now. I am holding out hope that the ( Read more... )

I think the work world, especially for contractors, is transitioning to a world where it is common to have breaks from work. I know so many people who have lost jobs one way or another, and it takes time to get a new one. Its hard to get used to, especially financially. In NJ I think you would get unemployment for 6 months. I don't know about in PA. I wish I could make you feel better!

Make me feel better. I am sure when I am sitting around knitting in the middle of the day next week I will feel differently about all this :)

That sounds like a good plan to me. Since we are dreaming big, lets put in that I won't have to go back to work till after Pennsic :)
