Congrats on the Illinois award, Laura!

I've been busy, busy. Miss seeing all of you fun people from the Carlisle area! So I'd like to hear more about the big chances and changes that you've experienced!

xoxo

Linda, you and Lois always have so many great things in the works at the same time that I truly don't know how you guys do it. So if *you* say you're busy, then I'm pretty sure I'd be passing out just hearing the list, lol. I'm glad, though. Spring is the perfect time to blow out all the cobwebs, get out there and celebrate. (Which I definitely plan on doing, as soon as I can catch up on about a year's worth of correspondence, updating, etc.. :)

Hey Terri!

How are you? How goes writing? I miss the crit group, and hearing your stuff.

Baby animal season is coming. (Ha! Like you don't know.) How is everything going?

We miss you, too, very much.

The writing is still going :) One on sub, and I just finished heavily revising the next. Working on two others.

Five baby bunnies so far. The weather is keeping the numbers down. That will surely change, but right now we're watching the rain and smiling :)

Congratulations!! Such a Pretty Girl deserves oodles of awards.

I've been busy with grad school (I'm doing field study work at the Folger Shakespeare Library this summer, so I can pretty much die happy now), and I have an agent who is interested in seeing a partial of my fantasy ms, which is exciting, and much more fun than the other rejections I've been getting.

Wow, this is wonderful! I'm excited for you, and will keep a good thought waiting to hear on your manuscript. You inspire me, you know. :)

Yay! New book! I'm very excited. I just texted my friend who loves you too, about it. ^_^

I... have lost my job, my home, my agent, and am about to jump into an RV with some friends to go busk (street performance) around New England/the East Coast and bring steampunk to new and interesting people and places. ^_^

Okay, you just knocked my socks off. I'm so sorry about the losses but wow, what a mad adventure you're going on! Are you excited? Will you post updates? I'm dying to know how it goes. Good luck, good weather, good fortune. Sending all good thoughts your way!

Congratulations on the new book and rest assured it has one uk sale already....
A ps from a reader in the uk. The cover design of leftovers and pretty girl looks very similar to the ones used for autobiographical misery literature over here. If I'd just seen the book I wouldn't have read it and would have judged it immediately as such. As it was our library had a shuffle forcing everybody to look through to find anything at all and I took the trouble to read the back since it was in modern fiction. I will be sharing it with teenagers at a youth group I help at and buying your other books. Leftovers for me was the one that (nearly) got away!

Thank you, and thanks for the head's up on the covers. (I just got the new one for the UK How It Ends and I think I like it best of all three.) I'm really glad you read the back, as Pretty Girl, Leftovers and How It Ends are all fiction. And I'd love to hear how it goes with the youth group. If they have any questions, etc., please know they can email me from a link on my website and I'll do my best to answer them.
