Sunday morning, rain is falling...

::squishy!kitty:: I love stories about G.

I often wonder how good of a memory cats have- having heard stories about them finding their way home after years, or their old owners paying visits and them being full of childlike excitement to see them. :D

What a sweetie! I love G. I've never really understood cat humor - I mean, why is a paper bag so enticing? - but when they're sweet and cuddly and purring and gazing at you with misty benevolence, I can forgive them everything. I'm so looking forward to the day when we can have a cat(s) again. Hugs and kisses to him.

One of my (five) cats loves going out on a leash. He took to it naturally, but I'm working with some of the others by letting them wear the harness around the house for a few minutes at a time, until they get used to it.

Still, taking Bertie out is nothing like walking a dog -- there are no straight lines, it's more of a free-form thing.

My mom has five cats, and they're all leash-trained. Except they tend to wiggle out of their collars, so now she uses harnesses (like ferret harnesses) for them. They got used to both really, really quickly. Cats are very adaptable! =)
