We are at our new house and our AC is broken. Its not fun, but its tolerable. Brewer is playing by himself (and talking up a storm!) and Lee is taking a nap. We are going to Applesbees for dinner. I need a few outfits. My clothes look horrible on me because they are a size or two too big. It's making me feel like I haven't lost any weight. I did find a super cute pair of pants the other day, but they are wool and a tad too small....I could wear them out if I wanted, but I'd like to just lose some more weight and wait for some cooler weather ( Read more... )

We are here! All of our furniture pieces are in, but just about everything else is still in Charleston. I was planning to go back yesterday, but decided to stay and now I'm stuck until Lee has a day off because we only have my car here.

We are moving in tomorrow. We are only bringing our bed, crib, chairs and the necessities because they cant put our floors down until the 21st. This way we wont have to haul our 800lb sofa somewhere.

We went with Bamboo flooring. I always thought I wanted dark floors, but I'm really happy about our decision. They will look something like this:

We are back from myrtle beach. I don't know if I'm getting old, or if its having a one year old, but these little weekend trips are exhausting! We had fun though and I'm glad we went.

Just got the tomato pie in the oven...the kitchen is a wreck! Now I get to finish a load, excuse me, two loads of towels and pack for our weekend to Myrtle Beach. Yeah!
