Back from the weekend trip.

I took way less photos of Alex than I had intended to, but it was cold and windy! Not good conditions for fiddling with posing and hair futzing. So, here are 7 of the 8 or 9 photos that included Alex [and even a couple with Travis, our family's Traveling Troll].

I'll be nice and put them all under a cut.

Actually, the most expensive kimono in the gallery/shop was $14,000. These are all traditional Japanese wedding kimono. The one that's $14,000 took 2 years to make! It's incredibly intricate, and absoultely stunning. I believe the cheapest one was $350. I'm glad the one I love the most is only $1,300. Usually I fall in love with whatever is the most expensive. :-/ However, there were at least 2 others that I want that would display very well with it.

Anyway, I do actually have a nice cotton yukata kimono, which I ordered from a shop in Japan and it was only about $40, I think. They're very comfortable!
