These are mostly of me and people from my lab. Who really were the only people I knew who were graduating. Sucks to go early, you don't know anybody else. :D
From the left: Random Dude I Don't Know, Karthik (bound for Med school), Stephanie (bound for a year in France and then NYU), Mike (bound for grad school), and yours truly (bound for a year in China and then grad school). The four of us are veterans of the Gluck Lab under Elliot's stay as postdoc there. We bonded over rats. The yellow tassels around our necks indicate that we're all in honors college. A much more select group that I'd thought, less than a score of people I think, out of several hundred graduating.
Me and Cat. 'Nuff said.
My getting my diploma. Rather disappointed by it, it's rather low quality. TJ put more effort into theirs. If you graduated with honors, they gave you a fancier one. I'm just happy to graduate.
Me and Roshani, who is also from our lab. She works with people, though. We spent a lot of time in that lab, hanging out. Closest thing I had to a social life with my fellow students, in many ways.
Um. Me with a bunch of Cat's friends, whom I don't really know very well. I must say, I looked pretty spiffy in a suit and tie. Too bad you can't see with those damned one-size-fits-all robes.
Anyway. Those are up now. I will endeavor to put up the other half of France pictures with commentary. One of these days.
