Finally finished the wing airbrushing and the coverts tonight!  The covert plumage is still a bit crazy, and desperately needs preening...  I'm hoping some Crew will help with that.

The wings are finally starting to come together!  I’ve been having lots of fun trying to figure out how to add wings to the jointed-ness of a human arm.  My workshop is now a fabulous wreck; littered with feathers, fur samples, failed attempts and various wing parts...  it looks like the aftermath of some epic hawk battle!  I’m just glad that I’m ( Read more... )

Went to see Cavalia today, which is currently in San Francisco.

Just... wow.... words can't describe it...  to see eight Arabian stallions *without riders or reins* trot out, line up and take a bow at intermission was downright spooky magnificent!

I'm already planning to see it again before they leave town.

Spent the morning recovering in one of my favorite parks... apparently a few others were as well!
