I decided to go with the nasal feeding tube for a couple of weeks after all after talking to the vet. Buddy will be able to walk around like he always does and won't be lying around with a giant tube down his throat like I pictured. Oh man, well I hope that Buddy snaps back. A [possibly(?), or more appropriately likely!] temporary feeding tube seems better than the alternative. It's so weird how much I've read about his problems on your LJ, but when I've seen him he's really a wonderful, loving, and vibrant animal. I don't know if I've just caught him at good times, but he really seems like a fighter.

As an aside, I love that you've kept your Suikoden II background. I've had a huge urge to play recently...

He's already eating solid food, despite having a tube in. I definitely would describe him as a fighter - and even while not eating, he walked around the house and was as demanding as ever.

I've actually been thinking about changing the background for a while because depending on the computer screen, it looks all weird.
