Sunggyu was totally clueless when he accepted Myungsoo's offer to marry him.

Sunggyu’s eyes narrowed at the half empty glass of beer he was holding. “What- did you put- something here?” he asked the younger boy who sat across him.

Myungsoo didn’t answer. Instead, he smirked as he picked up his own glass of beer and drank seductively from it, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down with every gulp. He glanced at the wall clock hanging just above the door to his room.

11:50 PM

“Ugh!” Sunggyu shook his head rapidly, as if it could shake off the dizziness.

“Are you sleepy, babe?” Myungsoo asked.

The tip of Sunggyu’s ears felt hot. Myungsoo had never been this fucking seductive and it’s incredibly effective on him.

“I-” he paused, carefully putting down the glass on the table. “It feels so hot in here,” he continued, his voice laced with annoyance, as he fanned himself.

“What do you want to do?” Myungsoo glanced up at the clock again. 11:51 PM. Shit.

“I don’t know?” Sunggyu chuckled. “Maybe, strip?” He face palmed. “I am so hot.”

“You are.” Myungsoo nodded.

The older boy rolled his eyes skyward, but he couldn’t hide the seven shades of red that had painted his cheeks. Myungsoo could see him blushing despite the dark.

Sunggyu blew air, his eyelids barely able to keep the weight on them. The beer was slowly consuming him.

Myungsoo groaned and said to himself, “Fuck that 12 midnight rule. I am so going to take him right now.”

Putting the empty glass of beer aside, he stood up, walked to the older boy and scooped him up in bridal style. Sunggyu was too dizzy to protest so he just wrapped his arms around Myungsoo’s neck and buried his nose in the crook of his neck. Some imaginary things, if they were, took Sunggyu’s shoes off him and set them on the shoe rack by the entrance of the house.

The door to Myungsoo’s room opened and the tall boy entered swiftly. The room was dark and it smelled of wine. The door creaked as it closed slowly after him, but he didn’t walk straight to the bed. Instead, he pinned Sunggyu against the wall, his body sandwiched in between Myungsoo’s and the cold red painted wood. He wrapped Sunggyu’s legs around his waist, his wrists pinned on the wall by bats as big as beer bottles, and pressed his nose against the skin of Sunggyu’s neck, inhaling his scent.

Sunggyu made a sound at the back of his throat as Myungsoo started placing feathery kisses from his jawline down his shoulder, and sucked at the junction where neck and shoulder met.

“Myungsoo~” the older boy moaned, his eyes shut tightly and his cheeks warm and red. The bats disappeared into black smoke as he broke free and wrapped his arms tightly around Myungsoo’s neck.

Sunggyu’s shirt disappeared slowly as flames burned it off his body, and he felt cold until Myungsoo hugged him tightly. His bare arms wrapped protectively around his waist and his naked body pressed against Myungsoo’s.

Making sure his fangs weren’t out yet, Myungsoo licked his lips before biting on the skin just above Sunggyu’s left bud.

“Ah!”

“You like that?” Myungsoo asked, his voice husky. He pressed his nose against the older boy’s chest. “You smell so nice, Gyu hyung.”

“Please,” he said, breathless. If this continued, his face would be in flames from too much blushing by now.

“What?” Myungsoo asked, placing a kiss at the side of Sunggyu’s lips.

“I can’t take this anymore.” With that said, Sunggyu grabbed a fistful of Myungsoo’s hair and kissed him hungrily. He started grinding against Myungsoo, ignoring the pain from his back as it brushed against the wall.

Myungsoo smirked before kissing him back. Placing his hands under Sunggyu’s butt for support, he carried him onto the bed as they continued with the messy kiss. Sunggyu moaned in between the kisses. Myungsoo slid his tongue in and tasted every sweet spot in Sunggyu’s mouth.

Once he was on top, he started caressing the outside of Sunggyu’s left thigh, slowly and softly. He could feel his cock throbbing as the older boy moaned and thrust upwards.

Myungsoo broke the kiss and looked at Sunggyu in the eye. “I want to ask you something first,” he said.

Sunggyu nodded and smiled, his fingers playing with Myungsoo’s hair.

“Marry me.”

Sunggyu swallowed before answering, “Yes!” without any hesitations. The next thing he knew was his eyes were rolling at the back of his head and his body was arched into the air as Myungsoo’s mouth found its way around his cock, wet and hot.

When Sunggyu woke up the next night, he was standing against the wall. He was dressed in a red and black wedding gown and his head was covered in some sort of a spider’s web, red and long, reaching the floor. He was also holding a bouquet of wilted roses.

Did he fucking sleep while standing?

He felt like screaming. Scratch that, he felt like dying when he saw Myungsoo standing by the door, dressed in a tuxedo with a cape reaching the floor wrapped around his shoulders and a pair shining black leather shoes. Then, he looked at himself. Holy shit! They were really getting married!

“Good evening, Sunggyu hyung!” Myungsoo beamed as he entered swiftly into the room.

Sunggyu looked at himself and half-screamed, “What is this?! Why the fuck am I wearing a dress?!”

Myungsoo smiled in the mirror, his fangs coming out. His eyes were blaring red and thick eyeliner outlined his eyes. Sunggyu would be lying if he’d say Myungsoo didn’t look hot. He looked beautiful, astonishing!

The younger boy faced Sunggyu and beamed once more. “We’re getting married, don’t you remember?”

Sunggyu’s eyes widened at the seemed to twinkle under the light. Getting married? So it really was true! Last night wasn’t just a dream!

Sunggyu threw the bouquet of wilted flowers on the floor and pointed at Myungsoo. “You- what the fuck are you?!”

Myungsoo turned back to the mirror and smiled as he fixed his bow in place. “I’m a vampire.”

“I know you are a vampire!” Sunggyu shouted.

“And you’re going to be one after we get married.” Myungsoo turned his back on the mirror and faced the door. “Get yourself ready. The car will arrive in fifteen minutes. Fix that bouquet of flowers, too. They’re one of a kind. And oh,” he stopped in his steps. He faced Sunggyu once more and continued, “I got you a maid for the night. He’ll come here in a minute or two.”

Sunggyu didn’t have the chance to say anything anymore because Myungsoo made his way to the door as swift as ever. It closed slowly after him.

Sunggyu felt like he was going to faint any minute by now. He was going to get married? To a vampire? The fuck is that? All he could remember was he was having a drink with Myungsoo last night. Then they had some steamy wild sex before he fell asleep. What was this? Some kind of a funny vampire story? Twilight? Vampire Diaries?

The fuck.

Sunggyu picked up the bouquet of wilted roses and sighed. “What the fuck have you gotten yourself into, Kim Sunggyu?”

He faced the door and sighed once more before walking towards it. At least, he wasn’t wearing heels.

Turned out he was really going to wear a pair of stilettoes in the end. Good thing he had Sungjong, his maid, to help him as he walk shakily.

Sunggyu was in between being surprised and not being surprised as he arrived at the venue of the wedding.

He entered the mansion slowly, eyes twinkling with awe and jaw dropped. This place was way too beautiful to be considered a haunted house. The whole ballroom hall was even bigger than his combined house, back garden and garage, and a huge majestic chandelier Sunggyu would only see on TVs lit even the hidden corners in it. Huge paintings of creepy looking people Sunggyu didn’t know of aligned the walls. The whole floor was covered in red carpet. Antic vases and wine glasses occupied the surfaces of long wooden tables that stood by the side of the hall.

“Do you want a retouch before the wedding starts, Master?” Sungjong’s question fell on deaf ears as Sunggyu stared at the staircase before him. He was the maid Myungsoo told him about earlier.

The staircase was wide enough to fit ten persons side by side to walk up on it, and from the distance he was standing at he couldn’t count how many steps there were. 40? 50? More than that, he concluded.

“Master Sunggyu?”

By this time Sunggyu had finally heard Sungjong’s voice, so he turned around abruptly and asked, “Yes?”

“Do you want a retouch before the wedding starts?”

A retouch? What is he, a girl?

Scratch that. He’s definitely the girl in this what, relationship?

Screw it. Just a few days before he was only talking to Myungsoo in the office about the policy of not playing computer games during work hours and what his punishment would be once The Boss caught him in the act and now he’s going to marry him??

Just wow.

Sunggyu’s train of thoughts disappeared quickly as the sound of a car engine entered his ears. He and his maid, Sungjong, turned to the door quickly to see the first guess coming in. He was dressed in a black tuxedo with a red necktie tucked under the coat, and a pair of black leather shoes.

Wait a minute.

“Woohyun?” he said, narrowing his eyes at the figure that was coming towards him.

“Sunggyu-sshi! Ah, it was so nice to see you dressed in a gown!” he greeted as he enveloped Sunggyu in a short hug. “It was such a waste for you to marry Kim Myungsoo. You should have gone out with me instead.”

“You’re also a vampire?” Sunggyu asked as he rotated in his position, his eyes glued to the sexy figure in front of him.

Woohyun didn’t answer because, duh, it was obvious. Sunggyu should really stop answering questions with obvious answers.

Woohyun went towards one of the paintings and looked up at the last one. “This was my great grandfather! He looked so damn handsome in this painting. Hahaha! It was such a shame that the great painter Jeon Jungkook couldn’t attend this wedding.”

“Jeon Jungkook?” Sunggyu asked.

“Woohyun-ah! You’re already here! I thought you were going to be late!”

Woohyun didn’t turn to look at the owner of the voice, but Sunggyu did. Surprisingly, it was The Boss in the office he was working at. Jang Dongwoo.

Sunggyu’s eyes widen to the size of tablespoons, but they weren’t still wide enough for them to pop out. Jang Dongwoo? That man whose laughter had always been brighter than the sun? That man who was always a little ‘childish’ to be a boss?

“Ah! Kim Sunggyu, there you are,” he said, walking towards Sunggyu with a bright smile.

Sunggyu was speechless at the sight of Jang Dongwoo’s fangs. It was the first time he had seen them and, well, it looked awfully cool. He wondered how he’d look like with those.

“No wonder why these boys had always been too clingy to you,” he said, giving Sunggyu a pat on the shoulder. “You’ve always had that smell.”

Sunggyu crinkled his eyebrows in confusion, but he wasn’t able to ask his question anymore as a set of guests entered the house.

“Oh my God, don’t you think it’s a little too bright in here?”

“Goodness, does Myungsoo want us blind?”

“Will you just shut the fuck up?”

“My God! Sunggyu is even more beautiful than us! I CANNOT!”

Sunggyu couldn’t believe this. Ga In, Narsha, Miryo and Jea? Really? The girls in the accounting department? How many more? Who else would be coming? Had he been working in a place full of vampires?!

No wonder why he felt like a roasted chicken whenever some of his officemates looked at him.

A lot more guests came in and flooded the ballroom hall. Sunggyu was intimidated even though most of them greeted him with a big smile. He felt like he was a meer cat surrounded by tigers and lions.

The lights suddenly went out and Sunggyu would have shrieked if he just didn’t hear Myungsoo’s voice in the background.

“Good evening!” his soon-to-be-husband said.

Following where it was coming from, Sunggyu turned around and assumed he was facing the staircase. Myungsoo’s footsteps and a set of another one rang in the ballroom hall as he descended the stairs and spoke, “I am really glad to see you all in my wedding ceremony.”

Sunggyu could hear one of the guests saying, “There. I like it dark in here more.”

He wanted to walk, but he couldn’t because he was scared of bumping into someone. He also grew afraid of the dark. What if someone suddenly jumped on him and bit him? Of course he’d prefer turning into a vampire through Myungsoo’s bite, not someone else’s, especially if it was going to be Woohyun or any of the girls who were giggling behind Sunggyu. Couldn’t they stop talking about how sexy Woohyun’s ass was and how they would love to tap and bite on it for a while?

Sunggyu cringed at what he heard.

Although he found Woohyun incredibly stunning, he wasn’t his type. Plus, Woohyun had always been so clingy to the point that Sunggyu would even kick his face just to push him off. He was also a flirt and he’d go slapping someone’s butt even when he’s at work. He’d throw hearts and winks at girls and stick his tongue out, acting cutesy. It was always so annoying.

The lights went back but it was dim this time, enough to give Sunggyu a little sight of what was happening around him. He found his soon-to-be-husband standing just at the foot of the staircase, smiling at his guest. He looked… Sunggyu didn’t know. Words were not enough to describe how wonderful Myungsoo looked like (despite the fangs). His hair reeked of gel, combed to the right, and the eyeliner that outlined his eyes was already gone. He looked surprising better, cuter without them. He’d always preferred someone who’s cute than handsome. Myungsoo was on top of the list.

Behind Myungsoo stood another man, dressed in a white tuxedo, and his necktie was purple. Sunggyu narrowed his eyes at the figure and gasped when he realized it was Lee Howon, The Boss’ secretary.

“I would like you all to see my beautiful bride, Kim Sunggyu,” he said to his guests before turning to Sunggyu who was standing a few feet from the foot of the staircase. “Baby, come here.”

Sunggyu swallowed and prayed to himself before making his way towards the staircase. He winced at the sudden playing of organs. It sounded as if someone banged on the keys in anger. As he walked up his first few steps he found the tune familiar. It wasn’t the song being played when the bride walks to the altar. It was definitely not.

Then a voice started singing. “In sleep he sang to me, in dreams he came.”

He remembered telling Myungsoo how much he wanted to see The Phantom of the Opera.

Myungsoo extended a hand and Sunggyu reluctantly took it. Then he was made to face the crowd, all looking at him with such awe. Then he saw Sungjong, amidst the crowd who were smiling blindingly at him, the look on his face a mixture of happiness and fear. It had Sunggyu confused. He wanted to assure the boy that he was going to fine, despite not knowing what was there for Sungjong to be scared of, so he smiled.

But pain contorted his face as he felt Myungsoo’s teeth digging into his skin. He felt the pain as those fangs made their way onto the veins of his neck. Then he felt sweet, then hot, then he didn’t know anymore. Then there was blood; in his eyes, in his mouth, in his nose. Everything tasted and smelled of blood.

He wasn’t sure if it was the metallic taste and smell of the substance that made him dizzy, and before he could even turn to Myungsoo to ask, he coughed and lost his grip on the earth.

Sunggyu would be thankful when he woke up at 10 in the morning, but he wasn’t. Because he felt like he was being roasted under the rays of the sun. Looking around, he felt a bit thankful to find himself back in the room where he and Myungsoo had sex last two nights.

Damn it, this was where everything started. He shouldn’t be glad. He should feel regret.

He sat up slowly. Everything around him was spinning. He felt like screaming. He felt like throwing up.

He saw the curtains tied to the sides of the windowsill and wondered who made them. He shook his head, as if it could send the dizziness away, but it only increased tenfold. He groaned.

Carefully, he went out of bed to untie the curtains. The rays of the sun felt like fire burning his skin. When he found it was a complete stupid idea to walk, he quickly bent down on all fours and crawled towards the window like a baby.

He was a few more steps close to the window when the door opened. He faced the door and bellowed as the sun burnt his skin. The figure that was entering the door disappeared suddenly and even before Sunggyu could react, the curtains were already undone.

He looked up and saw Sungjong smiling down at him. “You should stay in bed,” he said as he helped Sunggyu up and onto the bed. “Your body is still coping with the effects the transformation brought you.” He sat Sunggyu in the bed, helped him lie down again and tucked him under the covers. “What do you feel right now?”

“Isn’t it surprising of me to not be surprised anymore that you’re a vampire too?”

Sungjong chuckled. “I am Lee Sungjong. Myungsoo’s younger cousin.”

Sunggyu’s eyes widen.

“Now that surprised you.” Sungjong chuckled again. “Myungsoo hyung will be here in an hour. He had to take care of some matters regarding your honeymoon.”

“Honeymoon?” Sunggyu’s eyebrows rose.

Sungjong nodded as he patted Sunggyu’s chest through the blanket. “I heard it’s going to be fun,” he said. “You’ll visit the largest cemetery in Paris.”

Sunggyu’s jaw dropped. Who said a trip to Paris’ largest cemetery was going to be fun?! Oh no. A honeymoon in a cemetery wouldn’t happen because he’s going to talk to Myungsoo about it. Couldn’t it be at least somewhere like Disneyland? Or L.A? Or it could be the Taal Volcano in the Philippines. Sunggyu heard it was a really good tourist spot.

Even an air trip would do. Couldn’t they fly? Flying in the air on top of Seoul would be a romantic honeymoon.

Even before he could voice out everything to Sungjong, the door flew open and in came Myungsoo who looked ecstatic as ever.

Sungjong stood up and winked at Sunggyu before making his way out of the room. Myungsoo replaced Sungjong in the bed and placed a kiss on Sunggyu’s lips.

“Good morning, my lovely wife. How are you feeling today?” he asked sweetly.

“Uhh, thirsty?”

“Thirsty!” Myungsoo exclaimed and laughed. “Of course, you would be.”

“Uh, Myungsoo, I don’t think the largest cemetery in Paris would be a good place for our honeymoon,” Sunggyu said in a small voice, afraid that he would ruin his husband’s good mood.

Myungsoo laughed. “We’re not going to have our honeymoon in a cemetery,” he said. “I don’t want those dead people seeing us make babies.”

Sunggyu’s eyes widened. “Babies?”

Myungsoo nodded. “We’re doing it here. Right now.”

“But, Myung-”

Myungsoo started taking off his clothes and Sunggyu screamed for his dear life. Babies? Giving birth to babies? Human or bats or whatever, holy shit, no!

His eyes opened and he winced as he found himself in the dark, the only light guiding him was the light coming from the TV. There was someone screaming in the TV and when he looked at the screen, he saw Bella Swan from Twilight.

Sunggyu swallowed before he started sobbing.

“Hyung?” Myungsoo stirred from his sleep. On his lap was a sleeping Sungjong. “What’s wrong?”

What’s wrong?! He felt like screaming it in Myungsoo’s face, but he was able to restrain himself. He didn’t want waking the others. They looked peaceful as they sleep. They must be dreaming of wonderful things unlike him.

“Did you have a nightmare?” Myungsoo asked.

Nightmare!

God, he was so close to having Myungsoo’s babies! Was that a nightmare? Yes it was!

And because of that stupid nightmare he now hated Myungsoo.

And Twilight, too.

“Would you please turn the TV off? Nobody’s watching.”
