Sigh, I will be cooking for a bunch of mostly female and straight BDSMers in Guerneville, where I won't be attending Lazy Bear either. WORST COOKING GIG EVER.

Gee, I wasn't aware that the finger injury was permanent!

It appears to be a long term injury which will heal over the course of years. Evidence of the injury continues to disappear and sensation continues to improve. Others who tell me similar stories talk about their nearly invisible scars and talk about how for the longest time it sagged or had no sensation.
