Just a little something...

My Final Farewell;

Goodbye Spruce Creek High. Goodbye not only to the class of 2005, but everyone there; friends (underclass ones!), faculty, staff, administrators...and even the custodians! Goodbye to the school lunches/food, the piece of shit snack machines, the crowded halls, the stuffed lockers. Goodbye to sprinting through the rain, or skipping in the atrium. Goodbye to standing in the gym (or bathroom) rather than going to class. Goodbye to hall passes and tardy cards, checkout passes and school I.D.s. Goodbye to leaving at lunch and sleeping in class. Goodbye to procrastinating on projects and papers, and last minute homework. Goodbye to any chances (or times) I cheated on my work. Goodbye to being an asshole to substitutes. Goodbye to the friends (and enemies) I've made along the way...as well as goodbye to the friends I faded out of friendships with since years ago. Goodbye to the bumfuck portables and portable bathrooms. Goodbye to the golf cart administrators. Goodbye to lunch detentions and A.E. Goodbye to the teachers that sucked. Goodbye to the teachers that rocked. Goodbye to the smelly pigpens out back. Goodbye to the track that we ran on so many times. Goodbye to the all-too-familiar football fields. Goodbye to the morning announcements and S.C.A.M. Goodbye to "being a Hawk." Goodbye to the guidence counselors. Goodbye to the Dean's office. Goodbye to warning bells, tardy bells, and class-change bells. Goodbye to fights in the halls; the hoots and hollars along with it. Goodbye to skipping with friends. Goodbye to loitering in the parking lot. Goodbye to parking lot traffic. Goodbye to the "Beginning of the year" speeches, lectures, and assemblies. Goodbye to proms and homecomings, dances and festivities. Goodbye to high school football {{FOREVER~GO HAWKS!!}} and sports events. Goodbye to homecoming carnivals and dress-up days. Goodbye to school rivalries. Goodbye to powder-puff. Goodbye to the memories I've made, the laughs I've shared, the trouble I've been in, the accomplishments I've made, the tests I've taken, the work I've copied, the class discussions we've had, the prestentations I've dreaded, the late-work I've turned in, the days I've skipped, the millions of naps I've taken, the crushes I've had {{and stalked}}, the lunches we've had together, the school-related events we've gone to, and to everything I've ever known. Now it's time for me to grow up, move on, and take an even bigger step in a new direction of my life.

Goodbye to Spruce Creek High School--
but I'll never say a real goodbye to my memories there.

I love you guys!!
and I won't ever forget you.

PROMISE.
