I think I had a pretty good grasp of what Eva was about when I watched it in high school, but I could barely follow what happened in the second half of the movie. Just watch the clip. His part is less than 30 seconds. I feel so cheated. Gainax better pay up in the third film.

I never really got into Eva. I tried. I watched the whole thing....

But there are movies? How?What?When? *am soooo out of the loop* Was it a re-cap type movie or a what happens next sort of thing?

These are new, "re-imagined" movies. The first two are out, and the third might come out in Japan this year. They are very beautiful films, but difficult to watch because I expect the original plot and instead it slowly unraveled into something completely new.
