This was a lovely story. You captured Clark so well. Your Chloe and Richard were also beautifully written. I'll admit that Chlois is just not a theory I'm a big fan of, but you made it work. I was kind of surprised at the end, when Chloe left Richard on their wedding day. I agree with her reasonings but I sort of wonder if love is all a person needs. I really liked the ending, I love Chlark, so this is just a pondering.

Again, the story was lovely.

Totally agree. The ending actually nagged at me for months, but when I look at Chloe and ILL as characters, I couldn't see either burying the truth of their heart and marrying one man when they're in love with someone else.

It would have been so beautifully tragic, but the real victims would have been Richard, constantly laying his heart before her and her, constantly watching the skies.

Canon shows us Chloe's not that concerned with her own happiness, but I can't see her condemning Richard to that life.

Oh that was just wonderful! I read it holding my breath cos I thought she might actually go through with it! I really want to see Clark finally, fully realize how much he loves Chloe on the show. It would be so heartbreaking and heartfelt, just like you've written.
