I don't have a spoiler filter, so be warned.

Based loosely on spoilers for both Arctic and Season 8 of Smallville. About as likely to actually happen as an awesomesauce Season 8. :P

Brilliant!

I would totally expect Lex to use that kind of situation to his advantage and I would love to know just how Clark reacts to having to fight the one person who always believed in him.

I love this but it's hard to see Chloe that way. No matter what would happen I'm a romantic, in the sense that I'd like to believe Chloe's loyalty and penchance for right and wrong is so fundamental to her that she wouldn't lose it, no matter what. But my frustrations with the season understand what this means and gets that she deserves some emotional justice too.

It might not happen on the show, but it's an interesting angle. I really like how Clark's pain comes through in the second and fourth sections--it's vivid and so what I would want to happen. And, like Clark, I'm wondering just what really came back.

This and Life's Little Ironies both deserved to be mined so very much and it's fascinating. I wonder if the strength is because it was Brainiac's stuff she healed. I just am intrigued by the whole set up and by the potential for Chlex and for the pain to someone as ungrateful as Clark has been.

I'm...sorry? Naw...I'm glad you found this compelling!

I honestly can't wait for this season to be done, and I've never felt that way about any show I followed. Hiatus' are supposed to be hell, but this one looks like a breath of fresh air and that's sad.

A little distance, and I'll be back at both, I'm sure.
