Wow.  I kinda knew going into that (once) teeny-tiny fannish tendency with SV that it wouldn't end well, but this is insane.

Even before I discovered the phenomenon of fandom, I dreaded the hiatus' of my favorite shows.

Long live fanon. It's too little too late. I can't look away from the trainwreck but I believe in fanon > canon and I will be writing again tomorrow. I need a chaser to fucking Chimmy.

The writers are hacks, and we do it better!

I get what you're saying. On one hand, I'm glad she signed. On the other hand, this show has past its expiration date. So I'm torn and I keep going back and forth between excited and frustrated.

Canon is dead. Long live fanon.

That's totally true. I even have a similar sentiment in my icon.

I hate being this conflicted about a show whose writers seem to care so little.

I'm vascillating a lot myself. It's sad to see the potential they're wasting to make this story great. They have a strong cast and great directors that manage the visuals of the story so well. If only the words didn't suck so much most of the time.

Oh my friend, don't get cranky ;), who knows if they where smart enough to know they had to keep Allison or the show was going to be complete crap next season maybe... they are going to write better stuff?? I hope :D, hugs!!!

In my dream world, DC finally stepped in and told the Executive Producers that EDLois doesn't embody their Lois Lane at all and they're helping to map out a decent season 8.

I feel you. The show should have ended this season or even last season because the longer it drags on, the worse it becomes in terms of character development and story telling.

Yeah. I get that this season had some special circumstances, I do. But other shows saw the strike coming and didn't turn out crap just to get it on a page.

The good news is the leaving off point is a decent jumping off point for summer fics. Especially Chloisy ones.
