Choppy layers yes. Leave the length though, your face shape wouldn't permit it to be any shorter.
Also your hair looks thin. Try some root lift or volumizor.

you should do some side swiping of your bangs. parting it down the middle is too hard to pull off.
i kinda like the blonde in it. it makes your face look softer and you glow more. maybe put some small strands of blonde to lighten it up

yeah i agree, you look a little washed out with all black. the blonde looked really nice & added a nice color to your face.
