we sharpiesgal and I intended to open sign ups a couple weeks ago but real life bit us in the backside.

Want/Scenarios I'd like to read: A story set in liminal space - in other words the story either literally or figuratively is set at a threshold where both sides of the boundary can be perceived.
- A story set at a festival, a carnival, a play (not a children’s play), a formal ritual, or a trial.
- A story where Danny discovers that Steve can hula and what dancing means to him - let there be night, firelight and drums.
- A cross-over with any other crime team show where the team culture is more cerebral/analytical/sane - CIS, The Mentalist (okay, for a given value of sane), Moonlight, Hannibal (long-pig anyone?), POI…
- A first time story between Danny and Steve
Do Not Want in terms of story: A child centered story or any fic that could have been written to fill a kink meme prompt - no babies, no children, no de-aging; no bakeries, no coffee bars, no bdsm, sub/dom, genderswap ( ... )

Pairings/Characters you want: Steve/Danny, new or established relationship.
Pairings/Characters you don't want: Steve or Danny paired with anyone else.
Likes/Preferences/Kinks: Christmas themed would be cool. A little Steve angst or hurt as long as Danny is there to comfort. Light BDSM would be okay. Must be a happy ending.
Dislikes/Squicks: No non-canon character deaths, no heavy kinks, character bashing or partner betrayal. No unresolved angst or hurt. I don't mind sex as long as it's not the central focus of the story.
Canon you don't want: Nothing from Season 4 as it hasn't started showing here yet! No Catherine or Gabby, unless they come up in discussion between the boys. No appearances by Steve's Mom, unless she's mentioned as part of the Steve angst!
Rating anything including NC-17 is fine
