30 mins of Musing: The Price of Happiness

I'm not sure how did we ever come to the notion that happiness or peace 'just happens'...

I was talking to a friend of mine and we were discussing about the effort it takes to make a relationship work...

Him: I cannot believe it takes so much work!!!!!
Me: Welcome to the real world, everything takes effort, even sadness!!!!
Him: Yeah right!!!!

anyways. sadness does take work, it doesn't happen for no reason

so does idleness, being idle takes a lot of work! i know !

i do believe in the power of the "secret". the challenge is how to really believe that something which has been bothering you for the longest time will go away. and also how to be in line with the universe to do the right things to allow it to happen.

another food for thought: Is the amount of happiness in this world finite?

I definitely think the amount of happiness and love is infinite... Or at least i like to believe that it is... But then, the realist in me tells me that it may not be so... Just like how some fatal disease is cured, another one will surface... It's just mother nature's way of creating balance, but of cos some will say that Happiness and Love are metaphysical thus as energy, they'll manifest itself thus the reason it is infinite... :P
