Diapers. Formula. Blankets. Additional 'Onesie' (inasmuch as Sammy can be said to wear anything that included legs being bundled up, which is to say not at all). Another backup shirt-thing. Stroller. Mittens. Teddy bear.
All of this (sans the stroller, naturally) is being deftly packed into the diaper bag, while one month old Samuel Salazar lays comfortably on mommy's bed. He's not the best at laying on his back, but when he gets into a good position, he practically coos with satisfaction. Today, he's got all his legs curled up on his 'belly', and looks a little bit like a bug. He doesn't roll, squirm or fuss.
He's perfect, and today is his birthday. So the Salazar family is going out for a little stroll. A day to be out and about, perhaps do some errands.
"Ramon, honey, hand me Sammy's hat?"
