Reading: The Filter Bubble: What the Internet is Hiding From You, by Eli Pariser.  brdgt quoted it on her FB wall and it sounded intriguing, so I got it from the library.  It's about the way the personalization trend of the internet (think targeted Google ads) is affecting our cultural discourse.  It's pretty awesome, but also kind of scary.

i have a long-ish short cut right now and my hair is pretty puffy with nothing in it. i use a bit of light moroccan oil when it's damp, then a light wax by d:fi to shape. the wax is heavy enough to weigh down the curl, but it only gets greasy if i apply more than an index finger-worth.
