Reading: Nothing at all.  I read 2 magazines on the airplane up to Minnesota and then read The Perks of Being a Wallflower on the drive to Madeline Island, though.  I doubt that I'll be reading much of anything from now until the end of the year, what with the holidays and Miette's birthday and Corey's impending tongue-ectomy.

It's not quite the same, but have you been out to Lost Maples in the fall? There are at least more colors there. Some parts of East Texas get more fall-like, too. Not that you shouldn't take Miette to other places in the world outside of Texas, but those are a little easier to get to.
