Just got back from Pro Tour Qualifier chicago. Well I took 10th out of 75. Didnt make top 8 and I aint going to japan for pro tour. This means I have to go to madison next saturday and try to qualify there. My brain has melted after 9 hours of sealed deck magic ( Read more... )

wow... INTENSE! I think being the 10th is awesome! That sucks that they don't take the top 10... hmm... and all just to go to Japan... well then again i would to if I was really really good at Magic...

Madison is also for Kobe Japan. In two months starts either Sydney Australia, New York, Amsterdam, or Paris.

Great job! Tenth out of 75 is pretty damn good, but all the same hope you do well in Madison too. :-)

So, what do you need? Is the Madison PTQ Constructed then?

4 water front bouncer
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
3 volcanic islads
2 underground sea
1 strip mine
4 gilded drake
1 rack and ruin

The rest of the deck can be proxed and bopught from a friend of mine. I can do without the forces, the ancestral recall, and the time walk cause I can proxy the last two and barrow the forces.

Plus there isnt a type 1 ptq, The Madison PTQ is sealed and still for Kobe Japan. So I have to Draft on friday, go home, sleep, wake up, eat oatmeal, then with 2-3 other magic players drive to madison ptq and win the shit.

The deck I am building is for a type 1 on the 18th for x dollars and a mox ruby.
