 I should just write a story about Holst.  We took a sample (smelly it was) to the vet, and found that he has both hookworms and tapeworms.  While we were there, we also got something so that he hopefully won't end up with heartworms.  And we were able to apply flea repellent/killer tonight!  I'm hoping that it does the trick.  We're planning to ( Read more... )

Oh no! He must have been in the wild for a while. He must be so happy to have found a family who will take care of him.

Poor baby. Best of luck with the flea issue - if you have a vacuum with a bag, change it right after you do the cleaning. Our house had fleas when we moved into it and it was a mess to get rid of them!

put a flea collar in the canister if possible. it will kill the fleas you vacuum up. i saw it on a show on animal planet.
