The ending of Manhattan has confused me. Am I supposed to believe that Mary leaving Isaac is the event which showed him how much he missed, and loved, Tracy? Fuck, I've just realised the time. I want to be in bed because of all the hard decision making I've got to do tomorrow morning when I pick a book to read.

Today I did nothing but read from a quarter to eleven until half past two. Again with a half hour break where I left the building for lunch.

Let's put that into perspective.
