I saw a quite a few movies during the past few days.
Those would be (500) Days of Summer, Hurt Locker, and Astroboy.

I pity the guy for having to balance the laws and his drive to put everyone on equilibrium with his sense of fairness. I admire him for doing such a stellar job of it.

Then again, I similarly outright refused to watch Astroboy with Migo, but if you found it satisfying, then I'm definitely reconsidering. :)

Tom says it himself -- Summer just does what she wants. She felt like kissing him, so she did. And she knows they're a couple, she just...doesn't want it official. Or doesn't want labels, at any rate. I think it's kind of a cop-out on her part, because she's a commitment-phobe.

I totally didn't buy the destiny crap Summer was telling Tom near the end. So I was glad when Tom realized that you can't attribute cosmic significance to simple coincidences. And he asks Autumn out, yay!

Yeah, that he does, but it's his POV, not hers. Unless you're telling me he was dead on with that comment, which, granted, until now, I'm not really so sure. You're the girl, let me know!
I know she was being a guy that time, but did she really think she was getting into and out of that fake relationship so easy? And argh, I hate the guy too for putting himself in that position. Hahaha! Love is a confusing thing.

I don't think the relationship was fake. As I said, it felt like she was coping-out. (Is that a real word?) She knew relationships could be messy; that's why she made it clear from the beginning that she didn't believe in love and she didn't want a boyfriend. Unfortunately, that's not how relationsips, even casual ones, work.
I believe we live in a rational world and we can change our future because we have free will.

Why did she kiss him in the copy room? How come the girl doesn't realize that they're practically together, except for the silly label of officially being known as boyfriend / girlfriend?
because there are simply people like that who go into relationships and don't expect much to come out of it other than keeping each other company and having fun. it doesn't really matter to her if they're a BF/GF pair or otherwise. the blind date chick said it for him, and the dude was the one hoping and pushing it to be more than it was declared to be. it's the guy's fault but you can't really blame him, i would too if i were him.
lol at asking autumn out. haha although it was cute.
haven't watched astroboy or hurt locker but i'm dying to watch the latter. maybe within the week. :P
