Hope you all voted today, even if things don't turn out the way you wanted them. The most important thing is that you make your voice heard. I spent two hours waiting to make my voice heard. Because they reduced the number of voting stations from 4 to 2 at the one I go to in East Nashville. Guess the folks in Brentwood needed them more

Voting is definitely underappreciated lately. No matter how bad the choices are, at least doing what you can is important. In fact to take it a step further, to the extent you actually get involved with a topic/candidate you believe in, or even run for something local yourself, so much the better. But we can't expect it all I suppose. :)

Definitely gay marriage seems to be thoroughly trounced, pretty much everywhere. I'd like to say it's only a matter of time before the supreme court makes those laws moot, only with the recent appointments to the supreme court I'm not so sure that'll ever happen, frankly.
