Hope you all voted today, even if things don't turn out the way you wanted them. The most important thing is that you make your voice heard. I spent two hours waiting to make my voice heard. Because they reduced the number of voting stations from 4 to 2 at the one I go to in East Nashville. Guess the folks in Brentwood needed them more ( Read more... )

actually its probably just the Brentwood people being stupid and rich. Not that I have anything against Brentwood... lol

Voting is definitely underappreciated lately. No matter how bad the choices are, at least doing what you can is important. In fact to take it a step further, to the extent you actually get involved with a topic/candidate you believe in, or even run for something local yourself, so much the better. But we can't expect it all I suppose. :)

Definitely gay marriage seems to be thoroughly trounced, pretty much everywhere. I'd like to say it's only a matter of time before the supreme court makes those laws moot, only with the recent appointments to the supreme court I'm not so sure that'll ever happen, frankly.
