Holy crap! I've found in life that the more you like a car the bigger a target it becomes. Also, looks like it took quite a hit, so I also hope you're ok.

Sadly, I did not survive the accident.

(I'm fine. And thank you. This is what I get for buying an asphalt-colored car from the pre-third-taillight era.)

I do hope your ok.

Do you know if its body and fixable or if it got the frame?

I survived without a scratch.

I have a feeling that either way the repair cost will exceed the value, though nothing would delight me more than for that to be otherwise. Hoping to keep the salvage regardless and replace it with another.

I have a feeling the frame is all right. It wasn't terribly fast, but rather high. That is, I got dinged by a Chevy 4x4 pickup.

We'll see.

If its like my old mule (a bronco) you wont part with it despite all costs.

I would look in the junkyards and ebay to see if you can get the bodypanels. Im sure theres some furs around who know a bit about body work.

Actually, I wouldn't mind buying another with a clean body and cannibalizing some of the mechanical bits off of The Old Grey Mare. Either way, though.

For now, I'm back to Tommy the Tacoma for the foreseeable future. :P

At least it was after the trip and you are ok!

Agreed. It's just "stuff." Stuff can always be fixed or replaced. Health is the important thing.

And thanks again for all your help with the Disney trip!
