A/n: I actually wrote this poem back in 2008, based on an experience my sister had
I wrote you a letter saying everything I wanted to say.
I didn’t send it because I lost your address.
No, that’s a lie; this kind of letter was written on my heart.
Sealed with my tears as the day became dark.
It said: I’m going to miss you, but I don’t blame you.
I respect your decision to end it here.
Let’s be friends; I’m still writing how it ends...
Something sentimental about realizing my fears?
I wrote you a letter; I don’t expect and answer.
I never thought things would return to how they were.
I don’t want to see you with your new love,
But in time it will get easier; my letter will soon end.
I really miss you and I can’t forget you.
Something now about you being my first love.
I’d cry more, but the tears that would fall,
Would sting in the open wounds you gave me heart, sort of.
And I’ll try to be strong
When you come along
To show you I’ve grown
Willing to walk the unknown.
I wrote you a letter, it’s there upon the counter,
Filled to the brim with things I never told you.
I wrote you a letter, it may not make me feel better,
But one day I hope it gets to you,
Now we’re through.
As for my letter: This is the end.
Sincerely yours,
Never again.
Kyuhyun placed the letter down on the table next to his coffee, looking quizically at Hyukjae.
"Don't ask me why, he just told me to give it to you," the man answered simply.
Super Junior had dissolved a matter of years previous, as had the "KyuMin" relationship. Infact, KyuMin had gone their separate ways the same day as Super Junior had called it quits - with Jungsu and Heechul in the army, Shindong married, the other members promising solo careers...
"I know that you only know that he asked you to give me this, but did he tell you why he didn't give this to me years earlier?" The younger, yet taller man was slightly angry with his ex-roommate's sentimentality and strange way of brining up things at strange times.
Hyukjae shook his head.
"He just told me to deliver this to you."
"That man... he is infuriating..." Kyuhyun said fondly, smiling, despite the fact he was a little exasperated.
Hyukjae smiled too.
"Can you tell him "thank you" from me?"
"Sorry, I can't."
"If this is your way of trying to get me to go and see him myself I'll-"
"He died last week."
