GARAGEBAND!!

ANYONE!!!! Do you know if it's possible to add effects to a region in garageband, not having to add a new track. Also a fade. Come on, does Garageband suck THIS MUCH that you can't edit part of the track separately without adding a whole effect onto the WHOLE track...wtf....

umm do people actually use garage band for professional grade stuff? or... even semi professional? I might be missing something, but I've never heard any of my audio guy friends talk about garage band, ever. maybe thats why??

yeah it pretty much sucks. i ended up using audacity :/

and i'm not being professional here at all really, just trying to make the audio for my 5 channel installation and garageband had one good feature that audacity didn't have, but i got around it.
