well, that's another Xmas done and dusted... drinking Doombar in a rustic, Cotswold pub made me feel so quintessentially English, I was expecting to enjoy a port with Stephen Fry at some point, sadly this never came to fruition

Here's a little tip.

Try not to rely on the sat-nav for a bit. Get used to finding your way round a city using sign-posts....

Sat-navs are notorious for sending you the wrong way, a daft way or even the loooooong way round places. It'll also help with your general direction sense.

I have noticed, for shits n giggles I gave my house mate a lift to Whiteladies road... on route the SatTwat tried to take me across a footbridge then pointed out I needed to turn right on two roads I couldn't turn right in to!
