I have the ebook! The only reason I don't have the print version is that the local bookstore doesn't have a YA section, so they don't carry the book. I should probably just special-order the sucker, but at that point it feels like I might as well order it online and skip the walk.

I started the book this summer but was not in a good headspace to follow the characters where I could tell they were going, so I put it aside until getting snowed in this week. Once I got back to reading it, I couldn't put it down, read until 3:30am, woke up at 7:00 thinking about it and went downstairs to finish it. Did like it, yes.

I actually suggested the book to my e-mail book club and got a couple of people to not only read it but comment positively on it! These are my fellow moms-of-13-y.o. and come from all walks of life, actuaries, nurses, school teachers, including right-wingers, devoutly religious, and Republican members. Was so tickled they were willing to read it.

I was struck by the desire to get Kate to read this as well. Because of this book I might start a new book-exchange plan with her. Good stuff, good stuff.
