We have a tiny problem as far as travel goes. The Onyx Express and Pidgey Airlines are for special occasions only, apparently, so I'm going to have to take the long way to get to you.
I think I'll go through the cave that leads from Mahogany to Ecruteak, and see what to do when I get there. Play it by ear. I'll keep you updated as I go along.

[And he's gonna try his best not to be a little annoyed, cause he's definitely not excited about it having to take her two weeks to get there.]
Hey Steph. Sucks about the Onyz Express and Pidgey Airlines. This whole transportation thing is getting to be really obnoxious.
I've actually done some research, and I can get teach Boy Wonder Fly if I can get to the Cianwood Gym. And I have to go through Ecruteak to get there. I can get surf while in Ecruteak too, so it might just be better to meet there?
I've got at least another day here for the tournament. And after that I don't know if we're going to wait for Artemis to get here before moving out or not. I need to talk to the rest of the team.
So basically it's up to you. I need to talk to the team before I can give you legit answers about traveling, but it might be easier to just meet in Ecruteak if you don't want to have to backtrack?
Sometimes I miss cars. Or having a teammate with Super Speed. [Frustrated!sigh.]

Ecruteak it is then. I met a girl named Heather who said she'd help me out once I got there. We're gonna talk to old men in robes like in the Kung-Fu movies, and look at kickass scenery. Maybe we'll meditate under a waterfall too, or something.
Work things out with your team first. You guys ought to stick together.
I can take care of myself, pinky promise.
And you have no idea how much I agree with you. If I had my Ricochet, I would be there in a few days, tops. But I guess I'll be taking the road less traveled by.
Just remember: wax on, wax off. Yeah? Yeah. I always figured that's how he did it, you know. [He being Batman, btw.] But I could never catch that stupid fly.
Oh, no, we will. Artemis is actually here, so we just need to wait for the tournament to be over.
[And he's going to get an eye roll for the pinky promise, but he's still smiling.]
Dude, if I had my bike...ugh. That's why I need to get BW to learn Fly. But that trip in itself is going to take forever. So not whelmed.
Oh! I never asked you about your starter! I got Bats here. [He points over his shoulder to where his Zubat is flapping around happily, and out of everyone, he hopes she understands the irony.]
Dick. It's Bruce. No idea where I am and aside from Stephanie, your name was the only familiar one on the contact list. Call me back as soon as you get this, thanks.
[huh, been a while since he heard that one but he'll go with it--]
No idea, but I heard the the circus was in town. Maybe we'll spot him there.
[keep the answers normal, keeps the answers normal but-- the circus. Always the circus. That was their plan, right? Their story, but in reverse, their own code.]
[After about four days of attempting to dial Rob's stupid number, he gets voicemail, of course. He almost hangs up and just doesn't bother leaving a message because suddenly he doesn't want to do this anymore, but it needs to be done. It's needed to be done for, like, a week. So. Here goes.]
[So Rob's going to pretend it hasn't taken him an embarrassingly long time to call Wally back, and he's also going to pretend that he's not so nervous he thinks he's going to be sick. No, it'll be fine. Talking it over with Steph did help, but this...what was he even going to say.]
Hey, uh...sorry about taking so long to-, I mean, I got your message an-...yeah.
[Yeah, ngl, when Rob calls back, Wally nearly has a heart attack. Mostly because it's been so long he kind of forgot he called in the first place. But then Rob's face is on the screen and he almost wants to say "no, nevermind, it's all good," but... they need to talk. Even if it's going to be painfully awkward.]
Uh... yeah. I just... [Come on, Wally, take a deep breath, get it out and over with.]
I wanted to apologize. For everything. Especially that right hook. I shouldn't have let it all get to me like it did, but... I did. So... yeah. Sorry. You're just... you're my best friend. And I don't want that to change over some stupid fight.
[And he'll leave it at that for the moment, because he doesn't want to cheapen the apology with a huge "but."]
[Yeah, awkward doesn't even begin to cut it, but he listens. He listens because he knows he's been a douche and that everything is basically his fault, and even if Wally's the one apologizing Robin is definitely...yeah. After the whole ordeal with finding out about Bruce, he doesn't have the emotional capacity to stay made and/or stubborn at Wally.]
No, dude, it's fine. It's basically my fault, anyway. I just...that tournament really got to me. Which is stupid, because it got to everyone, but just the fact that something I worked so hard at was just gone...
But you're right, it shouldn't change because of a fight. You're my best friend and I shouldn't have treated you like crap.
I'm just... [No, Robin, stop. This isn't about you. Even if he wants to talk about how lost he feels right about now, and how he wonders if it's even worth it anymore, but he's not even sure if that's worth mentioning.]

Bruce?
[But then Bat!training kicks in, and he realizes he's going to need some kind of proof before he believes it completely.]
What ever happened to the caped crusader?
