[The audio clicks on, though for the first few moments no one speaks. There's just rustling, the sounds of buttons being pressed, and a soft sigh.]

If I can just figure out the calibration of this....

[The voice sounds young, a little annoyed, and a few more buttons are pressed. But then there's a brief 'oh wait' and the sound of the piece of ( Read more... )

You'd need an awful lot of money to buy that many in the first place, not to mention at least a few badges. Some items aren't available to new trainers.

That, and it probably won't stop the Pokémon from getting exhausted after a while.

Dude, where's the faith? You're sounding like you don't want them to be taken down.

I'm sure there is a way to get around that. And if all else fails, massive amounts of training couldn't hurt. Or legendaries, do they have legendaries here?

I'm just trying to be realistic. Been here for more than a year, so I know the ropes around here.

But I agree that there's nothing wrong with extra training. As for legendaries, nobody's gotten close to one.

You've been here for more than a year? [And Rob's totally going to pretend that doesn't terrify him a bit. He doesn't have time to be here for that long.]

Crap. Legendaries were the easiest way to get around Team Rocket

Almost a year and a half now.

[Though he doesn't seem too bothered by this.]

Well, they're probably legendary for a reason. Wouldn't mind catching one anyway, just to give my team an added boost. Not that they need it at their level.

[Whistles.] That's quite a long time. Enough to make anyone whelmed.

What's your average level for your team?

100. My only Pokémon that isn't at 100 is my Wartortle.

[He sounds totally chill when he says this, too. Like it's no big deal.]

[And just give him a moment, cause dude. Dude. DUDE. That's kind of intense.]

You're serious? And you trained them all?

That's right. Took a while to get there, though. If you can average about five levels a week, it still takes a few months per Pokémon.

I can barely get to five levels a week. [Groans.]

[He shrugs.]

Everyone trains at their own pace. I usually let my team loose on their own for a few hours; they're tough enough to handle it.

You mean you can let your team just go out and train themselves?

Pretty much. I don't recommend doing it with low levels, but after a while they can handle it on their own.

So yeah, I won't have to worry about it for a while.

It's easier to level up when you've got fewer Pokémon on your team, anyway. Might want to start small if you're busy.
