I think that one of the worst feelings that a person can have, other than a railroad spike being driven through your head or slowly having someone decapitate you with a spoon, is the realization that you no longer matter to someone who used to mean everything to you.

I know all those feelings. And the worse, by far, is being betrayed by someone whom you cared the world for. Someone whom you would have taken a bullet for. And in the end, that person was the one with the gun. Pointing it at your back. And pulling the trigger multiple times.
Life is a stone bitch.
You just have to grin...and take it...and if you can do that, and keep standing with a since of humor, you win...every time....
