One time a teacher was angry with me for not showing up on a presentation on the Japan-project. He had written down it was on a thursday, and that would be the day my OV-kaart would be valid again which all made perfect sense. Except he meant the 17th, not the 18th. I just got into my head it was on thursday, on the first day my OV-kaart would be valid again.

I still don't understand why he planned this presentation so that it would be exactly one day before people could travel for free again. I also don't understand why he was so angry with me over a simple mistake.
