Parts cut out? I dunno about this one, but for othe movies I've heard of people taking DVDs that have parts cut, taking a VHS that includes the missing parts, and digitizing the parts from the VHS, splicing them into a rip of the DVD, and burning it all to a new DVD. Sounds like a bit much trouble, though. (Oh, looked it up, and the LD version doesn't cut any of that. So they'd use the LD to do that, not a VHS. Or they'd just digitize the LD and burn that to DVD.)

Easiest way is just buy the LD, if you have a player for them. They're just as good as DVDs for most purposes anyways, if you ask me.

I know I could mirror the updates on LJ automatically, but I'd rather keep the two separated to avoid clutter.
What, like an LJ feed of the RSS from the page or something? Not sure how that constitutes clutter, but whatever.
