[so what if she feels so horrid right now that getting up is a chore? Calling Jensen isn't a chore. She'll just be buried up to her nose in her blankets.]

You finally got in.

[Yeah, forget that he actually cracked it for now.]

[she manages a half-chuckle that, sadly enough, turns into a cough.] Thank you for noticing.

You mentioned something about d- [cough.] Dream stability.

[There's a bit of clicking as he pulls up the file onto his computer screen.]

Yeah, it has something to do with the dream energy that actually comes from out dream and the balance between good dreams and nightmares...

Uh, are you taking something for that?

[Charles frowns at his screen.]

You're not Captain Rogers are you...

[He catches himself and clears his throat before continuing.]

That is to say that I am interested in hearing more about this 'Dream stability'.

[Ah, this doesn't get old at all. He grins and chuckles a little at that look on the other man's face. ]

I see you've met my not-so-twin. Unfortunately no, I am not Captain Rogers. I'm not even lucky enough to have a rank as high as his.

[He puts on a small show of displeasure about the whole thing but he makes it obvious that it was just a joke.]

What do you want to know?

You're unrelated? [That's quite difficult to believe. The similarities are astonishing.

But moving on.]

Everything.

We are. Hard to believe, right? I've got to admit that it makes for the best evil twin joke though.

[He crosses his arms over his chest.]

We're in for one hell of a long talk then. You ready for that?

[voice is getting hoarse. stupid sickness.]

So you hacked into it, huh?

hacksinundies November 24 2011, 00:51:29 UTC
I did. The firewall took a lot of time to get through but what matters is that we broke into it.

[His eyebrows raise.]

Seriously, this thing should be considered an epidemic by now.

[coughs before drinking some tea.]

Probably. But doesn't look like anythin's stoppin' it from spreadin'.

So what was that thing about Dream stability you were talkin' about?

Should probably stock up on the vitamins then.

[He lets out a bit of a half-laugh.]

There's a lot written down about how dreams and nightmares wind up becoming energy for this world And how it plays out everyone who lives here. And for those of us who are stuck here, of course. Regardless, they both produce energy but the effects of both differ.

...You were able to get into the computer? What did you learn about the Dream gates?

Reply

hacksinundies November 24 2011, 00:52:47 UTC
I haven't read everything just yet but there's a lot on why they were built. For travel between worlds and such.

...travel between worlds?

Would this information be available for everyone to read soon?

It's like Sylvani said before. Somarium and Hypnosia was a place you could actually visit if you really wanted to. Before that lady in black fried all the wirings and mechanisms of the gate.

If Ryan agrees to this, then it should be available sooner than later. If not, well...

Dream Gates and Dream stability?

[He is very interested, okay.]

Yep. Basically what brought us here and how good and evil balances out in Somarium... Sorta.

And what have you found regarding that?

It's pretty obvious that the moon cycles affect these if you've been here long enough. During the times of the new moon, the nightmare energy becomes a lot stronger while it's at its weakest during the full moon. Vice versa would go for dream energy.
