Well... it looks like today's clear, so... Let's do the dress-rehearsal tonight, everyone? If that's all right... I know it's a little sudden, but with the curses...
And, as long as there isn't a curse... The performance of The Importance of Being Earnest will be this Friday, at seven p.m.!

The delightful anxiety of dress rehearsal is that much greater in the City, where one never knows when a date will change due to curses. But Hell and high water aside, everyone's learned their lines and worked out their roles, and at this point the longer they wait, the more trouble they invite, really. So Neil's made the last-minute proclamation, and here he is.
They've met all together before and gone through the whole text, but it's always different knowing this is their last practice-- one last chance to fix slip-ups and smooth out problems. His heart is pounding from the moment he steps onstage to await the arrival of the cast.
[ooc; OKAY SO pretend that this is fore-dated to a point in the morning when it would be clear that there is no curse. Explanation here.
