Did we need more proof of Gary's splendiferousness?
Gary has started teaching me rudimentary robotics via Mindstorm. The man's patience overwhelms me. Even more than that, though, I've been amazed at my (thus far) intuitive understanding of the basic programming algorithms. But the "who knows what it might lead to" is sort of what I was figuring...at the very least, I'm learning something totally new at 40. Plus robots are neato, when they're not turning evil and taking over the world.

Killer robots or zombies-- that's a tough question! Zombies are generally slow and easy to run from...but death at the hands of a killer robot seems a lot less *messy*. Hm. I think I'd have to go with zombies; I think I'd stand a better chance against them. And maybe by the time it happens I'll have my own killer robots to help me.
