Saturday Aziza went to a breeding facility with the hopes that a breeding will take this year.  The stallion we chose has up-close Ruminaja Ali and Ansata breeding-- as in, Ali for a grandsire tail-male, Ansata Shah Zaman as his dam line grandsire, and A. What's not to love indeed! The first foals I worked with were Arabian foals. Now I'm always instinctively surprised when I see foals of other breeds and they're not as elfin-looking.

Sounds like some of the same lines as my poor rescue darling Rafiah. She was so lovely.

I still miss her. I haven't dreamed about her in a while, but I did a lot, at first after she died.

Your Rafiah had some gorgeous bloodlines...it's horrific when any animal needs rescuing, but when they have breeding like that, and you know (or hope!) that they started out in life "on purpose," it adds an element of disbelief to the situation. I'm glad you were there for her. :)
