We just spent the evening raising everything off the floor in the basement. We have leaking from all sides  and there is an open pipe near the drain that just bubbling water out of it. I think that it belongs to the city...I mean I have no idea what it is. I always assumed it was a hookup spot for another toilet. The good thing is that the bubbling

Totally OT, but I just wanted to thank you again for introducing us to Tigger and letting us be his parents for a while. It's very much on my mind tonight.

We finally tore out all the carpet in our basement. It was unprecedentedly hosed. And the litter-boxes were sad little islands.

I'll ask around at work today and see what that bubbling pipe might be. I didn't manage to catch the water inspector before she left for the field this morning but I should be able to ask her later. I'll keep ya posted.

I don't know how much water I got. Too much to count. My roommate went down there to do some laundry, came back up, said "Uh, did you know there's . . . some water . . . ." I said, "Yeah, wear boots."

I have no idea what to do about it.
