That's the Swedish name for the airport bus.  Pretty much everything in Sweden is fun to read ( Read more... )

I LOVE Edinburgh. One of my favorites places ever. Glad you had a good time. :)

Yeah, it was so beautiful, more than I ever expected out of a Scottish city truthfully. I guess I just don't know what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised

This reminds me of the fun I have walking through Ikea and reading the names of things. You should walk into people's houses and look at their furniture. When my grandmother and aunt went to Sweden to see relatives we have there they were showing us pictures, and at the end me and my sisters were whispering: "We shouldn't say anything...but all of their houses look like Ikea..."

Haha I love doing that in Ikea too. I haven't been in anyone's houses, but the hostel seems to have a lot of Ikea-esque furniture. I bet Ikea secretly owns this whole country

Scotland is so awesome, isn't it? I'm glad you guys got to go!!

Sweden sounds hilariously preposterous!! Make sure to take lots of pictures, as I'm sure the two of you will!!

You've been to Scotland? Yeah, it was pretty great. I didn't know what to expect but I ended up really liking it. We even get to go back for a couple hours, since our last flight home leaves from Glasgow.

There will be tons of pictures, don't worry. We already passed a sign that said "Eriksplan", which I loved.

The best question I was asked when I came back from study abroad was "if you were FORCED to go back to somewhere you've already been, where would you go?"

My answer was undeniably Scotland. It is a silly but gorgeous place. Just about right. I'm sorry that you had the "new" hostel experience though; I was there in the last month of the "old" hostel, and it was one of the best I experienced, in terms of local and architecture...but it was being bought out to re-become a single (rich person's) home.

As always, I hope to live through you and Amanda a bit. Have a wonderful time. Fluuuuuuuug! Or some other excited sounding Swedish sound.

Yeah, I just kind of booked something that sounded nice and cheap on the internet, but it turned out to be kind of not so worth it. But that's ok, hostels are always a mixed bag when traveling. The Glasgow hostel was in this big old house filled with rustic carpets and big golden turny doorknobs.

Feel free to live through us whenever you want! Our adventures will be coming to a close in a week, and then it's school and work for the next who knows how long. So enjoy it while you can, heh

It sounds like you two are having a lot of (busy) fun. It's interesting to hear about Scotland/Sweden from someone so seasoned in Asia, but first timing it in Europe.
