I had a great dream last night. I had rented a mountain bike and taken it to the top floor of a natural history museum housed in a giant skyscraper, and then took the long way down.

You have to make Russians really angry to get them to riot in December. Anyone can Occupy Wallstreet in balmy 75*F NYC, but you've got to be particularly enraged (or maybe just drunk) to be outside after dark in Moscow in December.

time for the semi-yearly update. sitting in miami international airport, waiting for my flight through to bogota, colombia. after that i head to lima, peru, cusco peru (macchu pichu), and then buenos aires for christmas, and rio for new years, with a day in montevideo, uruguay. i arrive back stateside in mid-january. whoo! i should be staying busy ( Read more... )
