How much do I love the idea that Harry has an adopted alien daughter, and through her, he's sort of an adopted grandfather to all those Vulcan children she's adopted? *wibbles*
I'm also grinning widely at the idea of Harry only stopping by Vulcan once he has gifts to bring to Solak. Though, he'd deny it hotly, I'm sure. =D
Also, I'm kind of worried that Harry will get himself into trouble if he goes around stealing things from the sort of people that knowingly buy smuggled good. *gnaws on fingers* Solak and your daughter won't like it if you get hurt, Harry!
ps: This series is awesome, gorgeous and I'm full blown in love with the idea that Vulcans, who are shown to be somewhat xeno-phobic, or at least looked down their noses on humans, are being helped so much by those crazy emotional often illogical beings. Vulcan's probably never thought they'd get much of a benefit from being members of the Federation, and now? *flaily hands*
Awesome.

And the idea of Harry getting in trouble is well... giving me ideas now. Hrm! :: thinky think think! ::
(Thank you, again. And yes, we've often seen that side of Vulcan. Right now though, they really can't afford to be or hold to any preconceptions, really.)

\o/ Ideas for more fic! Yes! *dances the crazy dance of utter joy*
No, they can't. And while in the original 'verse they eventually let their preconceptions about humanity go [to the point that full-blown Vulcans start joining Starfleet], they are on an accelerated course now.

Yep, they are. It's ironic really, how much we only saw one side of Vulcan's reaction towards humans in ST:ToS but the novels did show a bit more. Or at least, a portion of the population which was more open/exposed to humans and Star Fleet.

And I wasn't trying on purpose to make people cry! ...not until Legacy. That one I was sneakier about, I confess.
