I really do love this series. As much as I adore the main characters, my favourite fanfics have always been about those in the background who make up the cultures the main characters came from.

Thank you! :D

I'm looking over my recent writing and I have to admit, I can't contest that... both my TF stuff and this series focus on OCs or minor characters. XD

It does, I admit, give a writer so much to work with, without breaking set standards that many main characters have. (Then again, my Evil!Chekov potential series merrily tromps all over the standards for the sake of wacky humor. XD)

Evil!Chekov...? I'm not sure my brain can handle that image. Does not compute!

XD Check the star trek :: 2009 tag and you should find it, if you're so inclined. But it was fun to write! ;)

This was wonderful - I love how you're fleshing everything out so beautifully and in such a believable way :)

Thank you! I'm always glad to hear a story is believable. It's harder work than it seems sometimes. (This one is the longest of the series so far and has seen the most rewrites. XD)

Horta! *squee*

Thanks for the hopeful look into some of the consequences of Vulcan's destruction. Life continues, and it's wonderful to see some positive effects too.

Horta! :D (My favorite TOS alien race ever looks like a giant pizza. XD)

Thank you. =) I'm certainly having a lot of fun writing this series!

Oh, wow. It's amazing to see how the ramifications not just of Vulcan but of the Kelvin continue to make ripples in the Trek 'verse.

Thank you for these stories. They're wonderful.

Thank you! I'm glad you like them. =)

Working out the logic of 1) the early breakthrough to level 23 and 2) why would M'Benga be there and how could he be qualified to interpret everything in the right way in order to save the baby Horta was surprisingly easy to work out. Though I admit, I did take great liberties in making him a geologist like that.

That's adorable - and it's always interesting to see fic exploring how the new timeline might have changed in other ways than we see on screen.
