Almost 9:30 and no trick-or-treaters.
THIS SUCKS, so I am going to drink beer and eat skittles and maybe write something when NaNoWriMo starts at midnight. Though I shouldn't drink much if I want to write, I guess.
Meanwhile, I am so fucking bored. -
Crappy Halloween.
We bought about 85 tons of candy to hand out this Halloween. We figured that since there seem to be about a million kids in our apartment complex that we'd get a lot of trick-or treaters ( Read more... ) -

We had an Operational Excellence meeting today, and it was Olympic themed, and Andretti Bain came to speak - he goes to Oral Roberts University and holds the NCAA title in both indoor & outdoor 400m sprint (the only NCAA championships ORU has ever had), and he ran the 4x400 relay in the Beijing Olympics and helped win the Bahamas a ( Read more... ) -
Apparently I don't know any better.
I'm going to try and do NaNoWriMo again this year! I'm not sure how I feel about that. Two years ago I was really into it and I got more than 54,000 words, I think. But that project has just sat there ever since. I get it out and look at it sometimes, but I don't ever really work on it. Last year I didn't even try. I still say we're #1, because texas still sucks
THAT GAME WAS CRAP. I really hate referees sometimes. Although, admittedly, even if those three HORRIBLE CALLS had gone our way they still might have won, because our defense basically slept through the fourth quarter which is when they finally pulled ahead. Chicago was AWESOME. If you've never been, you need to go sometime - it's such a fascinating and beautiful city. There are so many gorgeous buildings - every one of them has a story, or some interesting architectural feature, or both. And Lake Michigan is so beautiful ( Read more... ) -

Jet-settin' again!
Me and my mom are leaving for Chicago tomorrow afternoon! Among items on the itinerary are the Art Institute, the Shedd Aquarium, Wicked(!!!) and at least one yarn store. YAY!
